Savour & Grace — Fine Art Print Commission
Client: Savour & Grace, Melbourne
Commission: 5 large-scale fine art prints for office interior
Category: Food and still life photography, fine art printing
Following an office refresh, Savour & Grace commissioned me to create a series of large-scale fine art prints for their space, using the produce they work with every day as the subject.
The brief was open: painterly, moody, classical in feel. Dark tonal backgrounds, controlled light, and a real sense of depth and presence. Aged parmesan, dry-cured salumi, prosciutto. Ingredients with incredible texture, structure and colour.
We photographed the series over two days in a cool room to protect the produce, with proper food handling throughout. A very considered process, and a genuinely beautiful one to work on, despite the freezing conditions.
Savour & Grace is one of Melbourne’s most respected specialty food importers, supplying premium charcuterie, cheese and artisan pantry goods to hospitality professionals and fine food retailers across Victoria. Their business is built on quality, provenance and a highly considered product offering, so it was important that the work carried that same sense of substance.
The final five prints were designed to stand alone, but also sit together as a cohesive series, reflecting the quality, character and depth at the heart of the Savour & Grace brand.
