FMCG Food Photography for Kettle Chips Crafted Collection

I was recently commissioned to shoot the packaging photography for Kettle’s new Crafted Collection—a premium FMCG range celebrating elevated flavour profiles and artisanal ingredients. Working alongside talented food stylist Lee Blaylock, we collaborated closely with the team at Melbourne-based Edison Agency to deliver a series of front-of-pack and hero images that reflected the sophistication and richness of the new product line.
This project called for visually impactful food imagery that felt indulgent, earthy, and authentic—aligned with the Crafted Collection’s unique flavour pairings: Black Truffle, Angus Beef & Caramelised Onion, and Smoked Butter & Sea Salt.
Over the course of the studio shoot, we focused on creating tactile, textural compositions that brought out the premium nature of the ingredients. Every element—from the crumb of a rustic chip to the gleam of smoked butter—was styled and lit with precision to feel warm, moody, and elevated while remaining natural and appetising.
The resulting images appear across product packaging, in-store promotions, and campaign collateral, playing a key role in the brand’s repositioning of Kettle Chips into a more gourmet, experience-driven space within the FMCG market.
