Project: Retail Fit-Out Photography for Golden Goose
Client: Golden Goose
Locations: Chadstone Shopping Centre & Collins Street, Melbourne
Scope: Interior & Retail Photography
Overview
Golden Goose, known for its fusion of luxury fashion and artisan craftsmanship, recently updated the interiors of their two retail locations in Melbourne—one in Chadstone Shopping Centre and the other along the iconic Collins Street. I was commissioned to photograph both fit-outs, capturing the brand’s distinctive interior design, materials, and spatial flow with a focus on mood, texture, and detail.
Creative Approach
The brief called for a series of images that not only documented the architectural and design elements of the spaces but also communicated the brand’s unique retail experience. Working across natural and controlled lighting, I aimed to reflect the thoughtful design choices—raw textures, sculptural forms, and heritage-meets-modern finishes—while ensuring consistency between the two stores.
Outcome
The final collection of imagery was used for both internal documentation and external brand marketing across digital, print, and PR platforms. This project is a strong example of retail interior photography that balances aesthetic storytelling with commercial functionality.
