Frequently Asked Questions
Food, Product & Interior Photography with Hannah Caldwell
What photography services do you offer?
I specialise in food photography, product photography, interior photography, and beverage photography. Whether you need striking editorial content, clean e-commerce images, or moody still life shots, I tailor each shoot to suit your brand’s style and message.
Do you work with small businesses and independent brands?
Absolutely. I regularly collaborate with boutique producers, local restaurants, and start-ups, offering flexible shoot options to suit a variety of budgets and creative briefs.
Where are you based, and do you travel for shoots?
I’m based in Melbourne, Australia, and work across Victoria. I’m available for interstate and international projects upon request.
Do you have a studio space?
Yes. I shoot from a fully equipped Melbourne studio that’s perfect for food, product, and beverage photography, offering both natural light and controlled lighting setups. I also shoot on location, especially for interior photography projects and food shoots where the food needs to be prepared onsite.
What is your photography style?
My work blends a painterly aesthetic with a focus on texture, light, and atmosphere. I often use natural light to create imagery that feels both elevated and authentic—whether I’m photographing plated dishes, styled products, or designed spaces.
Do you provide food or prop styling?
Yes. I work with experienced food, prop, and interior stylists depending on the needs of the shoot. For smaller projects, I also offer in-house styling to streamline the process.
What’s included in the final image delivery?
You’ll receive high-resolution, colour-corrected files ready for both print and web. Usage rights and licensing details are clearly outlined in your quote.
How much does a shoot cost?
Rates depend on the scope, duration, and complexity of the shoot. I offer half-day, full-day, and custom pricing for food photography, product shoots, and interior projects. Contact me with your project details for an accurate quote.
How do I book a session?
Head to the Contact page and send through a few details about your project. I’ll follow up to discuss timelines, creative direction, and availability.
