Ginger & Co

Drinks product photography for Ginger & Co, Melbourne based producers of delicious & unique superfood latte, chai & herbal tea

Ginger & Co came to me with a brief to create images of their products that could be used on their website, digital marketing and social media. They wanted a light bright and minimalist feel to complement their existing branding, packaging and website as well as to convey a clean and healthy feel.

We worked with food and prop Stylist Lee Blaylock who brought the brief to life with her use of white toned props and elegant minimalist styling. The light tones provided a neutral background and allowed the products to be the focus the image. I used bright lighting with strong shadows to create depth, texture and visual interest to the images.

We produced around 11 images from a full day shoot in the studio.

Brown Brothers

Wine Photography for Brown Brothers Wines

For this winter campaign with Brown Brothers, one of Australia’s most iconic and innovative family-owned wineries, the goal was to create a suite of inviting, contemporary images that reflect the brand’s heritage and forward-thinking approach to winemaking.

The focus of this campaign was capturing their wines in a warm, seasonal setting—paired with comforting recipes designed to showcase both flavour and mood. The brief was to create a series of lifestyle images that felt inviting, authentic, and true to the relaxed elegance of the Brown Brothers brand.

Working with a stylist and seasonal ingredients, we created warm contemporary scenes that paired each wine with a winter recipe. We matched their classic sauvignon blanc with local steamed mussels,  a juicy Tempranillo with delicious lamb cutlets and moscato with a poached pear dessert. The imagery was crafted to evoke a sense of occasion, from cosy shared dinners to quiet moments with a glass of red.

Natural textures, moody lighting, and layered compositions were used to reflect the depth and character of the wines while keeping the focus on real, relatable moments. The resulting photographs formed a cohesive visual story for use across Brown Brothers’ digital channels, print materials, and seasonal promotions—celebrating the connection between food, wine, and the rituals of winter.

Yarra Yering

Wine Bottle Photography for Yarra Yering Winery in the Yarra Valley.

Yarra Yering’s brief was to photograph all of their 13 wine varietals and create imagery that could be used on their website, as well as print and digital advertising.

They had recently won several awards and were in need of some impactful product imagery that they could send out to media as well as continue to use to promote their wines.

Yarra Yering had provided a list of tasting notes for each wine to create a story around each of the different varietals. We worked with a stylist to develop this and she sourced a variety of food, botanicals and other elements to represent the flavour notes of the wines.

Valhalla Bar

Food & Cocktail photography for Valhalla Bar, located in the recently refurbished Olderfleet building on Collins St, Melbourne CBD.

Prior to their launch in 2020, Valhalla’s team commissioned me to create a series of images of their delicious cocktail menu. Each signature cocktail features locally sourced spirits and native ingredients which they wanted to communicate through the images. Working with a stylist we created a unique scene for each cocktail using the tasting notes and ingredients as well as a variety of props to create an editorial feel.  Since the interiors have nordic theme and is very dark and moody it was important that the photography reflected this.

Shorty after the shoot we returned to shoot the newly launched bar snack menu in the same style as the cocktails.

Lui Bar

Food & Beverage Photography for Lui Bar – Vue de Monde, Melbourne

Perched on level 55 of Melbourne’s iconic Rialto Towers, Lui Bar—the sophisticated sister venue to Vue de Monde—recently underwent a stunning renovation. To showcase the refreshed interiors and the seasonal menu offering, I was commissioned to produce a series of food and beverage photographs capturing the venue’s elevated experience.

Working closely with the team, we created imagery that highlights Lui Bar’s meticulously crafted cocktails, elegant small plates by the Vue de Monde kitchen, and the venue’s breathtaking views of Melbourne’s city skyline—from golden hour through to nightfall. The result is a visual story that reflects both the luxury and warmth of the space, designed for use across digital platforms, media, and marketing campaigns.

Bacash Restaurant Photography

Recent food photography commission to produce a series of branding imagery for Bacash Restaurant and wine store in South Yarra, Melbourne.

Bacash have been operating for 25 years and are known for having the best fish & seafood in Melbourne.  Chef and owner Michael is the driving force in the kitchen and wife Fiona manages the front of house as well as an expertly curated wine collection. Their passion for what they do was obvious for the first meeting and the design team wanted to communicate their passion through the photography.

Inspiration for the series of images was taken from some of my existing work incorporating fresh ingredients and seafood photography.  We decided on a dark palate to communicate a premium feel which also reflected the interior of the restaurent. We chose simple but elegant styling to let the produce shine.
