Food Photography for Décor’s Design Series – Premium Pantry Range
I recently had the pleasure of working with Décor on a beautifully considered brief for their new Design Series—a premium range of pantry containers that combines functionality with a sleek modern design.
The shoot centred around five recipes designed to accompany the container range. For each recipe, I was tasked with capturing both the preparation process and the final plated result, with a strong creative focus on a cinematic, dark and moody style. The aim was to elevate everyday pantry staples into something visually rich and inspiring—bringing warmth, texture, and atmosphere to each image.
The final collection of 10 images featured dishes like a rustic banana bread and a rich, decadent chocolate brownie blending easily accessible recipes with a touch of indulgence. Food and prop styling by Carmel Gohar added depth and cohesion to the shoot, with natural textures and seasonal tones that tied everything together beautifully.
This project showed how lifestyle and product photography can work hand in hand—creating a visual story that highlights both the function and the feeling behind the brand.
